Opel-Treffen Oschersleben 2012 CAR PASS Payment & Convoy details

The booking for CAR PASS ONLY tickets is now available for the Opeltreffen Oschersleben 2012 Show.

Dates: Thursday June 7th - Sunday June 10th 2012.
Location: Motorpark Oschersleben Bode, Germany

Cost for club car pass: €15 Euro CAR ONLY (£12.50)

Camping payments are made on the entry gate for ALL show entrants.
2011 was €25 per person for the weekend. Cash Only on the gate.

2011 was an amazing show, I know this year will be better. Come and join us.

All payments need to be received before the 1st of March 2012.
To enable us as a group to get the location we want at the show.

The price includes all booking charges and recorded postal charges if needed to be sent to you.
The tickets will arrive at my door 2 weeks before the show date.
Don't worry, we will have confirmation in March of the numbers and there won't be any problems.

CONVOY ROUTES TO GERMANY:


There will be 2 routes which we'll be travelling to Germany. This is all dependant on where you are in the UK and which is the best way for you to travel over.

The good thing with 2012 is that there are 2 bank holiday just before the show 4th & 5th June 2012.
So the days to book on Holiday are Wednesday 6th June to Wednesday 13th or Thursday 14th June (If you want a lazy day and can't face work the day after you are back home )


Northern Route:

Tuesday 5th June 8pm - Hull - Rotterdam ferry.

Leave on Hull - Rotterdam ferry. Departs UK 8pm on the Tuesday 5th June night, arrives Wednesday 6th June 8am in Holland - Drive to Oschersleben.

We'll meet the Southern Convoy en-route around Minden area where the 2 autobahns join up.

Rotterdam, Holland - Oschersleben Route

1. ChrisMk1 - I'll be leaving via Hull - Rotterdam, but returning via the Eurotunnel after the Nurburgring trip with everyone else. It is just the journey out I'll be different on.

Southern Route:

If Booking Eurotunnel, the best times for travelling are:

Folkstone - Calais: Wednesday 6th June 09:50am Departure
Calais - Folkstone: Tuesday 12th June 19:20 Departure

Calais, France - Oschersleben Route

In 2011, we all met up at Maidstone services at 8:30am on the Wednesday morning, so we could all convoy down together for the Eurotunnel.
If we arrive early for our slot, they will usually try and put us on the earlier crossing if they have spaces.

Steverubberduck (Club-Vaux) hopefully will be the leader for the Southern Convoy

We will depart the Nurburgring Tuesday 12th June late AM for the drive back to the Eurotunnel for the 19:20 crossing.

Nothing is taken, as payment is when you leave on the Tuesday morning.

hi chris i emailed a while back now for info on the trip to the opel treffen. i have just signed up to the tv forum as you suggested to sort out tickets and ferry crossings.

i know i have to send you a paypal gift for the car pass and pay on the gate for entry and camping which i am sorting out now and will add to your list. But can you help me out with some info on ferry crossing schedule and which b&b everyone is booked into so i can try and get it sorted pre new year.
