We’ve
shortlisted everything performance related that Vauxhall have released
since the late ‘60s and now we want to find out what your favourites
are. We’ve set up a text-based voting system - simply choose your car
from the main list, then add the specific model you want to vote for.
One lucky winner will be collected by Total Vauxhall in a new Insignia VXR, and will then be able to spend the day with us, driving the car, which will be featured in the magazine!*
The criteria
Quite
simply, we want you to vote for the car you love best. Maybe the humble
Nova SR you got when you were 18 had you smitten for life. Maybe you’ve
fantasised for years about owning a mighty Lotus Carlton. Or perhaps
you just recently got your hands on a shiny new VXR and it’s blown away
anything you’ve owned previously! Whatever your preference, we want to
know about it. We’ll publish the full results in issue 100, along with
a special countdown of the top 10!
How to vote
Text
87474 followed by the relevant car code and your choice of model. It’s
not important exactly how the model is written as long as the first two
parts are correct. For example ‘888 COUPE’ and ‘COUPE 888’ are both
fine - just make sure it’s clear what it is you’re voting for!
You will then receive a confirmation message and will be entered into our prize draw to win something great.

By voting you are agreeing to receive details of future offers and
promotions from Future Publishing Limited and related third parties. If
you do not want to receive this information please text the word ‘STOP’
at the end of your message. Texts will be charged at 50p plus your
standard network tariff rate. The winner of the prize will be drawn at
random from all entries after the closing date 13/07/09. Prize draw
will take place on 21/07/09 and the winner will be notified within 28
days of the draw. Only UK residents aged 16 and over may enter. No
employees of Future Publishing Ltd or any company associated with this
competition, or any member of their close family may enter. No
photocopies will be accepted for postal entries. Prizes are as stated
and no alternatives, cash or otherwise are available. Future Publishing
Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury caused by any
prizes won. Publicity may be given to any competition winners and/or
entrants and their names and/or photographs printed. The editor’s
decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
