We are delighted to announce that Vauxhall touring car legend John Cleland will be attending Total Vauxhall Live which is taking place at Castle Combe in just over two weeks time.
John, who won the British Touring Car Champion Chip twice (in 1989 with an Astra GTE 16V and again 1995 with the Cavalier) will be on hand to sign autographs, answer questions and chat about some of his incredible exploits behind the wheel of some of the finest Vauxhall racers ever built.
Even more exciting is the fact that John will be reunited with one of the original Cavalier GSi BTCC cars and will be taking to the Castle Combe Circuit in it for the first time since 1990. Have your cameras and hankies ready, it’s going to be an emotional moment!
After taking to the circuit in the iconic Cavalier for a few demo laps, John will be swapping it for a more modern performance Vauxhall in the form of a Thorney Motorsport Astra VXR and taking a few lucky visitors on a hot lap of the Castle Combe Circuit!
